Australian Bridal is owned and operated by Lismore Bridal & Formal Hire, we also trade as Australian Bridal Creations.

Lismore Bridal & Formal Hire is an established business which has been operating successfully in Lismore for the past 15-20 years. With our new website “australianbridal” we have added another dimension to our fantastic service skills.

Lismore Bridal & Formal Hire has a wide and varied range of customers. We cater for brides, bridesmaids, flowergirls, mother of the bride/groom, women wanting evening or formal wear, men and boys who require hiring formal wear and men wanting to purchase formal wear.

The salon has available for sale wedding gowns, bridesmaid and flowergirl dresses, outfits for mother of the bride/groom and formal/evening wear. We also sell bridal accessories such as veils, tiaras, jewellery, shoes, handbags and shawls.

A couture service is available at Lismore Bridal & Formal Hire for those women who want something a little different and prefer not to buy ‘off the rack’. A design consultation is arranged and, once a design is settled upon, a quotation is prepared outlining the process involved and the number of fittings required for the garment to be made.

I been involved in the fashion industry and theatre costume design for over 20 years and have an excellent sense of style, colour and design. Not everyone who can sew can create couture garments. These take special skill in design, pattern drafting, fabric drapery and finally construction of the garment. Having been employed in the industry both in this country and overseas for over 20 years I believe I have honed these skills and talents to the best of my ability and am more than capable of delivering a quality finished product.

To the best of our knowledge we are the only ‘child friendly’ bridal salon on the North Coast. We have a child’s table and chairs set, story books, colouring in books and pencils in one of the fitting rooms so that toddlers and young children can sit and read or colour in without disturbing the customers who are being outfitted. In the same area we have a baby change station for our customers’ convenience.
